How to Install docbook software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

docbook software package provides standard SGML representation system for technical documents, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install docbook

docbook is installed in your system.

Make ensure the docbook package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep docbook *

You will get with docbook package name, version, architecture and description in a table
